Welcome back to our weekly look at the newest iOS device accessories. This week, we’re featuring a nice iPad mini stand, an improved iPhone 5 screen protector, and more.
Magnus Mini from Ten One Design
Ten One Design, well-known for creating the first capacitive touchscreen stylus, has unveiled a Magnus Mini stand for the iPad mini. Just like the Magnus for the full-sized iPad, the mini features magnets to securely hold a caseless tablet in landscape orientation. A smooth rubberized finish on the back of the stand protects the iPad mini from scratches or scuffs.
The stand retails for $29.95 and can be purchased from the company’s site now.
The Executive from iWalk
The new Executive from iWalk is a portable, Bluetooth keyboard that comes complete with a kickstand that will hold any iPhone or iPad. Weighing 1.4 pounds and measuring in at less than half and inch thick, the Executive has a rechargeable battery that lasts up to 300 hours of use or 45 days on standby.
Available at iWalk’s site, Sprint Stores, and other retailers, the iWalk will set you back $69.99.
GLAS.t Nano Slim from Spigen SGP
Spigen SGP’s glass screen protector line has been one of my favorite accessories to recommend ever since the iPhone 5 was introduced last fall. And the company has recently introduced an improved version with the GLAS.t Nano Slim. Measuring in at only 0.2mm, the protector should now been compatible with even more case selections. And since it’s made of glass, the protector feels exactly like an iPhone without any screen protection.
Thanks to an oleophobic coating, the protector prevents a build up of fingerprints and makes it easier to clean. If for some reason the protector does ever happen to break, it will crack into small harmless pieces held within the film.
The GLAS.t Nano Slim costs $34.99 and can be purchased on
Spigen’s site now.
The Bluetooth-Bean from Divoom
Bluetooth speakers continue to become more affordable for consumers. Divoom has just introduced the new Bluetooth-Bean, which retails for just $29.90. The smaller speaker features Bluetooth 3.0 technology right along with a built-in speakerphone for hands-free calling capability. The rechargeable battery on the palm-sized speaker can go for up to six hours without needing to be recharged. And an included metal carbineer allows music lovers to take the Bluetooth-Bean almost anywhere.
The speaker is available in blue, yellow, red, pink, white, or black. It can be purchased now
directly from Divoom.
