Video Cooking Magazine App Panna Updated With Recipe Notes And Other Features

August 25, 2013
Panna has just received another major update. Panna is touted as the first ever video cooking magazine app for iOS. For an overview of the app, you can check out our original article about Panna here on AppAdvice. Or you can watch the introductory video that has been added to the app by its new update. The latest update to Panna also introduces a new Recipe Notes feature that lets you take notes about each recipe. And if you have a question about a recipe, or any cooking-related query for that matter, you can now select a new Ask the Chef option that lets you get answers within 24 hours from the Panna Culinary Team. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. Also including the obligatory bug fixes and improvements, the new version of Panna is available now in the App Store for free. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.1 or later. Released for iPad last year, Panna was named as one of AppAdvice's Top 10 Best Free iPad Apps of 2012. It was made universal with iPhone and iPod touch compatibility last February. Panna offers six bimonthly issues per year. Each issue of Panna gives you free access to one recipe, whether or not you opt to buy the full issue. A full issue costs $4.99. But a one-year subscription is offered in-app at a 50 percent discount for $14.99. The newly updated app also features a new design for the Issues tab. Furthermore, it adds the ability to purchase all past issues for one price and offers a new subscription option for the current issue plus the next year of Panna. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
