Danger Is Real But Fear Is A Choice In After Earth, Now With New Marathon Mode

September 30, 2013
The iOS action running game After Earth just received its first major update. Released four months ago, After Earth is, of course, the official iOS game of the 2013 sci-fi action adventure film of the same name. The film, which stars the real-life father-and-son duo of Will Smith and Jaden Smith, tells the story of a father and his son who crash land on a post-apocalyptic Earth. Since launch, After Earth has included a Career Mode, which challenges players to complete 20 missions and unlock secret levels. Also called Story Mode, Career Mode features a new story inspired by the film. Now, with the game's first major update, After Earth also includes a new Endless Marathon Mode. This lets you test your reflexes as you explore dangerous yet beautiful environments also inspired by the film. The latest update to After Earth also delivers the following improvements:
  • Now track Ursa with Radar
  • All new Challenges & Missions
  • Compete with your friends on Social Leaderboards
  • Improved touch controls
  • Many optimizations and bug fixes
The new version of After Earth is available now in the App Store as a free update or as a new $0.99 download. The game is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 4.0 or later. After Earth is developed by Reliance Games, the same studio behind the official tie-in mobiles games of “Real Steel,” “Total Recall,” and, most recently, "Pacific Rim."
