Full Co-op Multiplayer Campaign Featured In Action Shooter 2013: Infected Wars
September 5, 2013
We first told you about it back in July. And this past weekend, we told you that it had been scheduled to be released today. Now, it has indeed been made available. I'm referring to 2013: Infected Wars, an action horror shooter game developed by Action Mobile Games for iOS.
In 2013: Infected Wars, the year is, obviously, 2013 โ the present year. Thankfully, though, the state of the world in 2013: Infected Wars is nothing like the 2013 that we are living.
In the game, a virus has been unleashed that infects humans and turns them into crazed mutated beasts. But there are those that have escaped the so-called Scourge, some of whom are highly trained mercenaries whose task is to salvage critical supplies and provide for the few that are left alive. You โ yes, you! โ are one of these mercenaries.
As such, you're challenged by 2013: Infected Wars to go through the game's entire campaign, whether in single-player mode or in co-op multiplayer mode. With regard to the latter mode, 2013: Infected Wars is touted as the first iOS game that offers the option to play with others throughout an entire co-op campaign.

Action Mobile Games' 2013: Infected Wars is available now in the App Store for $6.99. The game is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.0 or later. Note, though, that the fourth-generation iPod touch does not support multiplayer and does not include the game's Hardwell Park map on account of the device's technical limitations.
