Newly revealed parts purportedly show the home button for the iPhone 5S. What makes this significant is that the parts seem to show a fingerprint sensor component. The new images were recently published by French site Nowhereelse. As you can see from the attached images, the home button for the iPhone 5S is much different than the one for its predecessor, the iPhone 5. In a word, the home button here looks much more complex. We’ve heard that the next iPhone would include a fingerprint sensor. Rarely, however, have we seen images showing as much. In addition to the sensor, the seventh-generation iPhone is likely to include a better camera with a dual-LED flash, an A7 processor, and be available in a gold hue. Regardless, we’ll know very soon. Apple’s iPhone event is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. PDT next Tuesday, Sept. 10.
