Looking for another endless runner to add to your collection? Spirit Runner, a new iOS application available for $0.99, looks like it could be a promising addition.
Developed by Pixel Palm Studios, the game offers iDevice users conventional endless runner gameplay relocated out in the tropical wilderness. Claiming to be "the first true survival endless runner," however, Spirit Runner challenges gamers to continuously collect power-ups in the form of small spirits, which are required in order to keep on running.
If your gauge runs out, or if you crash into one of the many obstacles the application places in your path (which includes malevolent "bad spirits"), then one's character will of course come to a brisk standstill.
As outlined in the app's release notes:
Do remember, of course, that our Endless Running Games app list provides a hand-picked selection of the App Store's best endless runner iOS apps. But should Spirit Runner be added to our list? You decide. As mentioned, Spirit Runner can be downloaded in the App Store for $0.99, and is optimized for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
