Fly, Fall And Roll To Win In The Cute, Colorful Rollabear For iOS

October 8, 2013
Move aside Angry Birds, Bad Piggies, and Cut the Rope's Om Nom, because the App Store has a new cute, colorful character for iDevice users to meet. Three fun-loving bears - Bubba Bear, Poppy the Panda, and Otis - along with their friends, appear in the recently launched Rollabear: an action-packed bowling adventure with a difference. The game, which can be downloaded for $0.99 and is optimized for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, charges players with the task of rolling their rollabear friends through a number of different environments, and striking down the waiting humanoid pins. Gaming environments include the Rockies, Asia, and the Arctic, and three different game modes - Campaign, Ten Round, and Survivor - are on offer. Helping rollabears on their journey is Lord Gillsworth, a "dapper goldfish," and across the three realms gamers encounter are golden boxes of magical time-warping fish, "which allow players to rewind time, correct their mistakes, and get closer to the perfect strike," developer Matmi explains. Features of Rollabear include:
  • 60 unique action packed levels
  • 6 chapters
  • 3 magical worlds
  • 20 original bear characters to unlock
  • Simple controls
  • Unique style and gameplay
  • Beautiful bespoke animations
  • 3 unique modes of play
  • Unlockable levels
  • Incredibly addictive fun
  • Facebook/Twitter functionality
  • Game Center support
For a limited time only, Rollabear can be downloaded for just $0.99 in the App Store. But act fast, because a higher price tag is set to arrive in the near future. Below, we've included an official launch trailer for the game, which should provide iDevice users with a better idea of what they can expect.
