Quora 3.1 Features Photo Uploading, Post-Search Question Posting And More
October 30, 2013
Quora, the official iOS app of the popular Q&A social networking site of the same name, has just been updated to version 3.1.
Quora was updated to version 3.0 last month, on the same day as the official launch of iOS 7. Of course, Quora 3.0 introduced a new look that's in line with the design of iOS 7. As well, it brought seamless browsing and discovery, multiple feeds, and instant open and voting from feed.
Now, Quora 3.1 is here, and it also brings some notable improvements.
Perhaps the most notable among them is the added ability to add photos in answers, posts, and comments. You can now do that by tapping the new image icon in the editor, whereupon you can choose a photo from your library or take a new one with the camera.
Another improvement is the ability to add a new question after performing a search, which is made possible by the new Add Question button at the bottom of the search results.
Quora 3.1 also lets you clear all new notifications using the Clear X New button as well as edit and set primary topics on questions. It also includes improvements to the editor to ensure that you don't lose your work in the event of app crashes, closures, and the like.
Also including crash and connection error fixes, Quora 3.1 is available now in the App Store for free. It's optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 5.0 or later.
Prior to its 3.0 update, Quora was updated last July with the ability to post new questions and support for saving drafts for later.
