Countless iOS applications have been optimized for iOS 7, and the popular cross-platform messaging app WhatsApp Messenger is set to join the party in a forthcoming update. But how will the application look once it's received an iOS 7-inspired makeover?
In a recent Twitter update, @HackiPhone shares a couple of screenshots taken from a beta version of the updated WhatsApp Messenger, and provides iDevice users with an insight into what the application will look like once optimized for Apple's new mobile OS.
Upcoming update of Whatsapp app on iOS 7 pic.twitter.com/slbPDH81Uo — HackiPhone .[]. (@HackiPhone) October 8, 2013As you can see, the updated app sports a flatter, more minimalistic design that fits in well with the like changes made to Apple's iOS 7. It provides a simpler interface not dissimilar to the built-in Messages app in iOS 7, while maintaining (at least in this beta) a similar-looking application icon. It could be, of course, that a flatter app icon is added to WhatsApp Messenger, too, before the update reaches users. How do you like the application's redesign? We'll keep you updated with further information as we receive it.
