Readdle has updated its popular scanning iOS application, Scanner Pro, adding "next-generation image processing" and promising that as a result, scanned images "look perfect."
The already impressive $2.99 application allows iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch users to "scan" a document simply by taking a photograph. Scanner Pro then formats and processes the image accordingly, and offers to save the resultant file as a PDF.
In an update to the app, however, Readdle has further improved the universal application. Calling the new feature "Amazing Text Quality," the developer explains:
We've created next-generation image processing that makes text on your scans look perfect. The change means scanned images now look even better. As you can see, the results are great. Scanner Pro can be downloaded in the App Store for $2.99, and is optimized for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. If you've been searching for an iOS scanner for your iDevice, then look no further.
