In case you missed it, Mos Speedrun, the classic retro title for Apple's mobile OS, has received a long-overdue update. Now, iDevice owners can enjoy support for the 4-inch screens of the iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, and iPod touch (fifth-generation), and a number of further improvements have also been added in the updated application.
These include "official" support for Apple's iOS 7, a quick access "restart" button, an updated app icon, and DPAD graphics.
Furthermore, the game now renders video at a higher resolution, meaning Mos Speedrun should both look and feel better than before. Finally, and perhaps best of all, the game features a brand new "Prestige Mode" of gameplay.
Here's a complete list of changes, as outlined in the application's release notes:
As such, iDevice are certainly encouraged to download Mos Speedrun and take the app for a spin. Mos Speedrun can be downloaded in the App Store for $0.99, and is optimized for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
