Yahoo has published a relatively minor update for its Yahoo Mail app, but the updated application nevertheless offers a new feature that users will appreciate: message swiping.
As outlined in the app's release notes, "Easily swipe through messages: Swipe left and right to page through messages when reading messages on the iPhone and in full-screen mode on the iPad." The feature is available as of Yahoo Mail 2.0.3, which launched in the App Store recently.
Bug fixes and performance enhancements have also been added in the update.
As a reminder, Yahoo Mail received a major facelift back in October: in celebration of the email service's 16th birthday, Yahoo redesigned the application and offered users one terabyte (1,000GB) of free storage.
Further changes made at the time included support for both conversations and themes.
As mentioned, the updated Yahoo Mail can be downloaded now in the App Store. It's available free of charge, and is optimized for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
