ReadQuick Speed-Reading App Updated With Readability Support And iOS 7 Redesign
November 3, 2013
The acclaimed speed-reading app ReadQuick has just received a new update that adds support for another popular read-later service and applies some design tweaks.
Prior to this update, ReadQuick was integrated with Instapaper and Pocket only. Now, though, it has also been integrated with Readability, which, by the way, is my read-later service of choice.
As a result, you can now also "read quick" through your saved articles in Readability, in addition to those in Instapaper or Pocket.
Of course, you can still read through any other article that you can find in the in-app browser or through any of the featured articles from ReadQuick's content partners.
The latest update to ReadQuick also delivers some interface enhancements that, as expected, match the look and feel of iOS 7.
Also including some bug fixes, the new version of ReadQuick is available now in the App Store as a free update or as a new $4.99 download. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.0 or later.
Released in August last year for iPad, ReadQuick received its universal update in August this year, thereby adding support for iPhone and iPod touch. That update also added new featured sources.
