Camera+ 5 Arrives With An iOS 7 Inspired Design And New Editing Features

December 18, 2013
Just in time to capture the perfect photo this holiday season, developer tap tap tap has released a major update to Camera+. Version 5 of Camera+ is highlighted by the addition of a photo-editing suite named The Lab. Probably the nicest new feature in the suite is Clarity Pro, which gives photographers an adjustable clarity and a vibrancy boost adjustment. Some of the other new settings include an auto-straighten and sharpen feature. Another major change to the app is the splitting of the exposure compensation and exposure lock controls so photographers can have easier access to each setting. And along with a new main app icon, other icons inside the app have also been refined to match iOS 7. Users can also make an iOS 7 style wallpaper with a specific blur and saturation tool. Camera+ is designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and can be downloaded now in the App Store for $1.99. A separate iPad app, Camera+ for iPad will set you back $4.99. Its last update arrived in November. Before the most recent major update, version 4.2 of Camera+ arrived in October. That brought support for a full-resolution burst mode and a new Standard Effects Pack.
