Create Beautiful Instagram Videos Using Veedeo For iPhone
Consider yourself an amateur filmmaker? Then check out Veedeo, a new addition to the App Store that promises to put the iPhone’s impressive built-in camera to proper use in a powerful video creation app.
The app is available for $0.99 and is optimized for the iPhone and iPod touch. Once downloaded and installed, iDevice owners can use Veedeo to record video, edit it (using the app’s own animation, blur, and text tools), save it, and share it. Though the application promotes itself as being compatible with Facebook’s Instagram, users can also save Veedeo-made videos to their handset or may share them using the Messages and Mail apps.
Developer Blatt Labs explains, “Veedeo turns your iPhone into a powerful yet very easy to use video editing app,” and adds: “Your iPhone and its amazing camera is now your studio and post production office anywhere you go.”
As outlined in the app’s release notes, features include:
- Record your video with the iPhone’s amazing camera
- Choose a beautiful animation
- Blur the background
- Add music and text
- Save and Share
Though Veedeo doesn’t allow users to import video from their iDevice or to record using their handset’s front-facing camera, Blatt Labs has confirmed that both features are set to reach the application in a future update.
Finally, Veedeo is optimized for use with the iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, and iPhone 5; it’s compatible with iOS 7 only.
