Family Guy Game Heading To iOS Devices In 2014

December 10, 2013
“Family Guy” is heading to iOS devices. Twentieth Century Fox is teaming up with developer TinyCo to create a free-to-play game that will arrive sometime in 2014. The game will feature an all-new, original story influenced by the show’s extensive catalog of episodes and current events. Gamers will be able to explore Quahog, recruiting, and even confronting, their favorite characters from the show along the way. TinyCo, which has developed numerous iOS games, will work directly with writers from the show to develop the story and dialogue.
"It's really fun!" said FAMILY GUY star Peter Griffin. "Plus, if you play it for more than three hours it counts as going outside!"
With a huge legion of fans, a mobile game definitely makes sense for Family Guy. And as we’ve seen with the very popular The Simpsons: Tapped Out, gamers flock to a well-made and funny game featuring animated characters. We’ll definitely let you know if we hear anything more about the game. Maybe even Brian, the family's dog who was killed off in a recent episode, could make a return.
