Fancy Music Player App Splyce Goes 2.0 With Splycelists, Smart Seek And Other Features
December 21, 2013
Splyce, the fancy music player that earned an AppAdvice App of the Week honorable mention shortly after its release last July, has just been updated to version 2.0.
Splyce 2.0 introduces a couple of new major features called Splycelists and Smart Length, both of which are available via a $0.99 Premium in-app upgrade.
Splycelists let you save your playlists with all of their mixing and length settings for further enjoyment and remixing anytime. And Smart Length automatically selects the best part of a song.
Another "smart" feature introduced in Splyce 2.0 is Smart Seek. This lets you choose the part of a song where you want to seek, after which Splyce automatically identifies the beat that best suits the transition.
Splyce 2.0 also adds new Brake and Stop transitions for Pro users, and new Volume and Flash Philips Hue lighting modes for Fancier users.
Pro and Fancier are available as in-app upgrades for $0.99 each. Pro also features audio effects and BMP ordering, and Fancier also features color themes and lock screen song artwork. The full feature set, which includes all features in the Premium, Pro and Fancier upgrades, may be unlocked via a $1.99 in-app purchase.
Splyce 2.0 is available now in the App Store for free. It's optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 7.0 or later.
