Future iPads Could Be Delivered In 30 Minutes Courtesy Of An Amazon Drone

Amazon’s Jeff Bezos is always looking to improve shipping times for orders placed at the online giant. Last month, they added Sunday delivery through the United States Postal Service. That was nothing compared to what the CEO announced during the most recent “60 Minutes” broadcast. Packages from Amazon could someday be delivered to our doors via drones. Yes, drones. Amazon PrimeAir is currently being developed and could launch as early as 2015. These packages would need to weigh 5 pounds or less. Bezos said that Amazon PrimeAir still needs FAA approval. Additionally, Amazon still needs to perfect the system. “This thing can’t land on someone’s head,” Bezos said. Just think, your iPad 7 could be delivered by a drone in 30 minutes or less.
