Getting Sticky With It: Imo Messaging App Finally Updated With Stickers
The popular Imo messaging app has just been updated with a notable new feature. Last August, Imo was updated, at long last, with support for video calling, about a year after it was updated with support for voice calling. Now, Imo appears to be playing catch-up once again with other popular messaging apps as it gains yet another feature in the form of support for stickers. You know, those glorified emoticons that you can send to your contacts in lieu of words or expressions. Already a popular feature in Line, KakaoTalk, Viber, and Facebook Messenger, sticker support has finally arrived in Imo. Imo currently offers two free sticker packs and five other sticker packs available via in-app purchase in the sticker gallery. More sticker packs are said to be added soon. The new version of Imo is available now in the App Store for free. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 4.3 or later. Imo is listed as a "notable app" in AppAdvice's Instant Messaging Apps AppGuide.
