Google Play Music Updated With iOS 7 Redesign, 'I'm Feeling Lucky' Radio And More
December 21, 2013
Google has just issued the first ever update to the official iOS app of its music streaming service, Google Play Music.
Available via All Access or a standard limited service, Google Play Music for iOS lets you listen to your music collection anywhere, anytime, right from your iOS device.
Released just last month, the app has now been updated with, first and foremost, a redesigned interface for iOS 7. In addition, it has been updated with support for "I'm feeling lucky" radio, which creates a station with songs selected based on your listening history.
The first update to Google Play Music also adds auto-playlists, including a Thumbs Up playlist, to the playlist view. Moreover, it brings genre radio stations for All Access users and adds the ability to search for genres.
The new version of Google Play Music is available now in the App Store for free. The app is optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6.0 or later.
