Rdio App Updated With iOS 7 Keyboard, Redesigned Profiles And Sleep Timer Feature

December 19, 2013
The official iOS app of Rdio has just received a new update that brings some UI improvements along with a new notable feature. First off, while the update doesn't bring about a significant iOS 7 redesign for Rdio (not that the app is in dire need of a design refresh), it does, at long last, equip the app with an iOS 7-optimized keyboard. The update also introduces a new iOS 7-inspired look for Rdio profiles. Your Rdio profile now shows your picture right at the center amid a background made from a blurred and zoomed-in version of the picture itself. Your friends' profiles now also show their last played tracks and let you quickly play their FM stations. As mentioned, the latest update to Rdio also comes with a new notable feature. And it comes in the form of a new sleep timer function. Now, you can have Rdio automatically stop playback (particularly at bedtime) after a set interval ranging rom 15 minutes to two hours. Also including some bug fixes, the new version of Rdio is available now in the App Store for free. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later. Rdio received its previous update early last month, thereby gaining a new recommendations engine and a redesigned stations player.
