Inspire Pro Gets Huge Update Featuring Canvas Playback Video Recording

December 19, 2013
Inspire Pro, the highly rated iPad drawing app developed by KiwiPixel, has just received a huge update. Inspire Pro's huge update happens to introduce a huge new feature in the form of canvas playback video recording. Bringing Inspire Pro into parity with rival drawing app Procreate, this new feature automatically records your brush strokes as you paint without any loss of speed:
  • You can play the video of your artwork being created stroke-by-stroke directly in the gallery with a new Play button
  • A Canvas Playback video can be exported to your Photos, Email or iTunes Documents
  • Exported videos are always 1080p, regardless of the chosen canvas size or orientation
  • A 3 second intro is added to the beginning of an exported video so that you can preview the final artwork before watching it unfold in the video
  • Recorded videos do take up more space, so if you're low, you can always turn off Canvas Playback from the New Canvas menu
The latest update to Inspire Pro also introduces a new 17:9 widescreen canvas size. This new size supports 2,048 x 1,152 on Retina iPads and 1,024 x 576 on non-Retina iPads. However, it produces full 1,920 x 1,080 canvas playback videos on all devices. The update also adds support for Wacom's Intuos Creative Stylus, including pressure sensitivity and shortcut buttons for undo and redo. Moreover, it brings improved pressure response and reaction of brush strokes for all supported pressure-sensitive styli. Aside from Wacom's Intuos Creative Stylus, Inspire Pro supports the Adonit Jot Touch, the Ten One Design Pogo Connect, and the HEX3 Jaja. The new version of Inspire Pro also features new brushes, an improved color picker, new image import options, new export options, new artwork properties, improved gallery thumbnails, and a new .inspirepro file format. The new version of Inspire Pro is available now in the App Store as a free update or as a new $4.99 download. The app is compatible with iPad and iPad mini running iOS 5.0 or later. Inspire Pro is included in AppAdvice’s Drawing With Your iPad AppGuide.
