Paper Meets Pencil In Latest Update To FiftyThree's Acclaimed Drawing App

December 3, 2013
FiftyThree has just updated its popular iPad drawing app for its soon-to-be popular iPad drawing stylus. Through its latest update, Paper by FiftyThree has been made compatible with Pencil by FiftyThree, which was unveiled just a couple of weeks ago. As a result, the app now has full support for the Bluetooth 4.0-powered stylus, including its palm rejection, eraser, and blending features:
  • Palm Rejection— Pencil and Paper work together to produce the most sophisticated and effective palm rejection in any app available today. No setup, no calibration, just natural feeling writing and drawing.
  • Erase— Pencil’s unique built-in eraser lets you get down to what’s essential.
  • Blend— Pencil takes care of the lines so you can use your fingers to blend colors on the page and smooth rough edges without ever picking up a tool.

Also featuring a reworked Expressive Ink Engine for improved speed and responsiveness across all tools, the new version of Paper by FiftyThree is available now in the App Store for free. The app is compatible with iPad and iPad mini running iOS 6.0 or later. Before Pencil came Book.
