Sweet! Join Om Nom And The Nommies In Cut The Rope 2, Out Now In The App Store

Cut the Rope 2, the sequel to ZeptoLab's seminal Cut the Rope game starring the candy-loving Om Nom, has finally landed on the App Store. Cut the Rope 2 was announced last September and was treated to its first teaser trailer last month. Then, a couple of weeks ago, its first official artwork was released alongside the announcement of its release date, Dec. 19, which is already today in most parts of the world. That means that you can now download Cut the Rope 2 for your iOS device. And you definitely want to if you're a fan of the original Cut the Rope game and its spinoffs, Cut the Rope: Experiments and Cut the Rope: Time Travel. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. As indicated in its gameplay trailer released last week, Cut the Rope 2 features new locations and new gameplay elements. Perhaps most notably, though, the sequel introduces new characters called the Nommies, which are out to help Om Nom find his way back home:

Roto can carry Om Nom to the best candy catching locations

Lick can make small bridges with his tongue to help Om Nom reach his goal

Blue can lift Om Nom to new levels of candy hunting fun

Toss can throw objects, including candy

Boo can scare Om Nom to jump to new heights
