Tilt To Live 2: Redonkulous Updated With New Old School Mode And Sensitivity Slider
December 4, 2013
Just three weeks after its launch, Tilt to Live 2: Redonkulous has already received its first major update.
Released in mid-November, Tilt to Live 2 is, as its name suggests, the long-awaited sequel to Tilt to Live, the popular survival arcade game that was hailed as AppAdvice's Game of the Year for 2010.
Among the new features of Tilt to Live 2 are its new weapons, new scoring system, and all new bosses. It also has two game types: the normal-difficulty Classic Mode and the extra hard Code Red.
Now, following the game's first major update, you can add to those the new Old School mode. Old School mode effectively removes bosses and the revive mini-game from the Classic and Code Red modes. In addition, it comes with its very own leaderboard.

Another notable feature brought by the update is the new sensitivity slider. Accessible from the "assume the position" screen or the "pause" screen, this lets you set your preferred tilting sensitivity. The default sensitivity, by the way, has also been slightly modified for more responsive tilting.
Also including several minor improvements, the new version of Tilt to Live 2: Redonkulous is available now in the App Store as a free update or as a new $2.99 download. The game is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.0 or later.
For more information on Tilt to Live 2, check out our original review of the game here on AppAdvice, which concludes thus: "It’s incredibly challenging, and the visuals are vivid and smooth, while the music is a great listen. If you love hysterical games like this, or were just a fan of the first one, then you absolutely need to give this a download. As a bonus, there are no in-app purchases so this is a game all about skill."
