Tweetbot For Mac Gets Updated With Fixes For Several Annoying Issues
December 28, 2013
Tweetbot for Mac has just received a new update.
To be sure, the new update brings several bug fixes only. But these bug fixes happen to address issues that have been causing much annoyance among users, including yours truly, of the popular $19.99 Twitter client.
First off, the update fixes the issue that causes "x unread items" to display in the app's timeline, only the timeline can't be scrolled up to see the unread tweets.
The update also resolves instances when images in direct messages wouldn't load when clicked.
Moreover, it sorts out issues that cause hanging related to audio playback or iCloud syncing
Finally, the latest update to Tweetbot for Mac fixes the issue where the main Tweetbot window could move from the secondary monitor to the primary one after restarting the app.
The new version of Tweetbot for Mac is available now in the Mac App Store as a free update or as a new $19.99 download. The app is compatible with OS X 10.7.4 or later.
Tweetbot for Mac was previously updated last month with improvements for OS X 10.9 Mavericks, which was released a month before.
Tweetbot for iPhone (already redesigned for iOS 7 via its 3.0 iteration) and Tweetbot for iPad (yet to be redesigned for iOS 7) are also available in the App Store for $1.99 and $2.99, respectively.
