Adobe Reader Updated With New iOS 7-Style Design Plus New Features

Adobe has just issued a major update to the official Adobe Reader app for iOS.
First and foremost, the latest update to the popular PDF reader app introduces a new design that, of course, matches the flat and simple visual style of iOS 7. Changes in the new design include a new color scheme, plain glyphs, the relocation of the editing menu to the bottom, and improvements to the left menu.
The update also offers quicker access to recently viewed documents with their very own section right within the left menu.
Furthermore, it offers improved single-file editing and improved text selection. The former lets you perform basic operations without opening a file; simply swipe on a file in a list to reveal the edit menu. The latter lets you select text by character rather than by word only.
The new version of Adobe Reader also includes navigation enhancements (including redesigned page scrubber and go to page features), an integrated help section (including an online handbook and update changelog), and improved services integration (including monthly subscriptions to Adobe ExportPDF and Adobe PDF Pack).
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.0 or later, the new version of Adobe Reader is available now in the App Store for free.
