Ahead Of Launch, Images Of Brisbane's Flagship Apple Retail Store Surface Online
Apple’s flagship Apple Retail Store in Brisbane, Australia isn’t set to open its doors until Jan. 17, yet retail store fans around the world already have the chance of taking a peek inside the new venue.
Two separate publications, Reckoner and MacRumors, have shared a handful of images taken from within the new Brisbane Apple Retail Store. The retail location is situated inside the MacArthur Chambers building, which itself is a historic venue in Queensland’s capital and most populous city.
The Brisbane Apple Retail Store has been in development for some time, though a delay in construction during 2013 pushed the launch of the new store back a few months.
More recently, barricade signage appeared outside the MacArthur Chambers building, and Apple subsequently confirmed online that the Brisbane retail store will have its Grand Opening on Jan. 17.
From what we can tell, the new Apple Retail Store has seen some relatively minor changes made to the 1934 MacArthur Chambers building, including the addition of modern windows and a staircase. As you would expect, the new location includes space for Apple’s product lines, its workshops, and its Genius Bar.
