Bombs Away! Worms 3 Gains Cloud Saving, External Controller Support And More
January 8, 2014
A new major update has just landed on Worms 3, the iOS-exclusive follow-up to the popular Worms 2: Armageddon artillery strategy game.
Released last August, Worms 3 received its first major update in September, thereby gaining new campaign missions, new speech banks, and support for social messaging. Then, it got its second major update in October, including additional customization items inspired by Halloween and Terraria.
Now, here comes another major update to Worms 3, which finally brings support for cloud saving. In addition, the new update brings external controller support for the MOGA Ace Power and the Logitech PowerShell. Finally, the update also adds support for Apple's A7-powered devices: iPhone 5s, iPad Air and iPad mini with Retina display.

Also including various bug fixes and improvements, the new version of Worms 3 is available now in the App Store as a free update or as a new $0.99 download. The game is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.1.1 or later.
As always, updating to a new version of Worms 3 effectively breaks all online games started on previous versions. So, before updating to the latest version of Worms 3, make sure to complete all online games in progress first.
