CES: LifeProof Shows Off Its New iPhone 5s Waterproof Cases For 2014
The folks at LifeProof have a handful of new, waterproof cases for the iPhone 5s available for 2014, and at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) we got to take a closer look.
First, we were able to check out LifeProof’s frē case with Realtree camouflage. This case is super slim yet offers a built-in screen protector and is waterproof, drop proof, completely dirt proof, but can indeed be used as an everyday case due to its small form factor.
The frē case can be used with the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5, and users can access Touch ID with the waterproof product, too. There are also a bunch of different camouflage options for users to choose from.
LifeProof also showed off its “nüüd” case for the iPhone 5s. This is the first waterproof smartphone case that doesn’t feature a built-in screen protector, and as such users have the option of touching their iPhone’s actual touchscreen while underwater (the handset itself is protected by a watertight seal which surrounds the smartphone’s screen).
The nüüd case also lets users access their Touch ID-equipped Home button, too, and it’s available for $89.99 from LifeProof.
