Check In And Tag Along With Others As You Watch TV With tvtag, Formerly GetGlue

Several days ago, we told you that GetGlue would be rebranded as tvtag as a result of its acquisition by TV discovery startup i.TV last November. Well, as of today, GetGlue is officially called tvtag, as confirmed by an update that has just been issued to the app. But the name is not the only thing that's new about the popular TV check-in app. There's also the change in app icon, the change in brand color from blue to red, and the change in interface that provides access to tvtag's social TV features. The new tvtag app lets you check in to your favorite shows, movies, and teams and "tag" them with comments, reactions, doodles, and memes. It also lets you vote in polls and earn digital stickers, which were part of the main appeal of GetGlue. The app formerly called GetGlue lets you:
