Kobo Books E-Reading App Turns A New Page, Updated To Version 7.0 For iOS 7
January 10, 2014
The popular Kobo Books e-reading app has just been updated to version 7.0 for iOS 7.
Kobo Books is, of course, the official iOS app of the Rakuten-owned Canadian e-bookseller Kobo, which competes against Amazon's Kindle, Barnes & Noble's Nook, and, of course, Apple's iBooks.
For iOS 7, the Kobo app has undergone a significant makeover, resulting in a simple, cleaner, and flatter interface. This new interface features a redesigned library, improved menus for night-time reading, and better methods for creating, organizing, and editing collections.
It also introduces all-new navigation menus. What's more, Kobo Books' navigation is now consistent across the app's iPhone and iPad editions.
Kobo Books 7.0 is available now in the App Store for free. It's compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 7.0 or later.
