Twitter Update Brings Improved Photo Editing Tools And More

January 29, 2014
Twitter’s official iOS app has just been updated to add enhancements to replies and the photo viewer. With version 6.1, users can click on a tweet and reply with a photo by selecting the gallery icon. It is also easier to mention users when tweeting a photo. The update also offers improvements to the photo cropping and image rotation function. Users with login verification enabled inside the app now no longer need a temporary password to log-in. Finally, when all tweets in a timeline have been read, pull to refresh and see recommendations for new Twitter content. A universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini, Twitter can be downloaded now in the App Store for free. Before the most recent update, version 6.0 of the app arrived late last year. That brought photo support to direct messages, UI changes, and more.
