One of our Top 10 Free iPhone Apps of 2013, Vine, has just been updated with a very nice feature.
While shooting videos with version 1.4.7 of the app, users can tap and hold the focus tool to lock both the focus and exposure. That’s a very handy addition that should make it even easier to capture that perfect six-second video.
The update also features the usual amount of bug fixes and stability improvements.
Designed for the iPhone/iPod touch, Vine can be downloaded now in the App Store for free.
Almost a week ago, Vine unveiled a Web interface as another way for fans to interact with the service. On vine.co, users of the social network can like, comment, and share other videos just like on the iPhone app.
The nicest feature of the site is the exclusive TV mode that will show an entire collection of videos in sequence and in full screen mode.
Vine members can even select a vanity URL profile for the site.
