Puma has just updated its highly rated iOS running app, Pumatrac, to version 2.0, just over four months after the app's release in the App Store. In addition to tracking the usual performance stats (distance, calories burned, etc.), Pumatrac provides insights on how outside conditions (day of the week, location, and weather) and personal behaviors (music choices and social media activity) affect your running performance. Pumatrac 2.0 makes those insights more comprehensive and effective with the introduction of several enhancements. First off, Pumatrac 2.0 adds Spotify integration, enabling you to, say, find out if you tend to run further while listening to your favorite Spotify jam. Pumatrac 2.0 also delivers global insights, in addition to your own insights. Global insights include the latest user data, average running distances, and average running times from your fellow Pumatrac users around the world. Below are the complete release notes for Pumatrac 2.0:
Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6.0 or later, Pumatrac 2.0 is available now in the App Store for free.
