Simple Step-Tracking App Pedometer++ Goes 2.0 With New Design And New Features
February 1, 2014
Pedometer++ has just been updated to version 2.0, four months after its release in the App Store.
As its name suggests, Pedometer++ is a step-tracking app. But it's not just an ordinary pedometer app in that it integrates with the M7 motion coprocessor on iPhone 5s:
Take advantage of the step counting capabilities in your iPhone 5s to improve your health. Pedometer++ lets you easily keep track of your daily and weekly step counts, without any impact on your battery life. You can also set the app to dynamically show your current step count as the applications badge. This will update dynamically throughout the day.As mentioned, Pedometer++ has just gone 2.0. Pedometer++ 2.0 brings about some changes to the app's visual design, which is accented with brighter colors. The new design also lets you view your stats for a whole week in a single screen, thanks to the new vertical bar graph (as opposed to the vertically scrollable horizontal bar graph of previous versions). Pedometer++ 2.0 also improves the sharing functionality to include more data. Furthermore, it adds support for exporting step counts via a CSV email attachment. The new version of Pedometer++ also includes localizations for the following additional languages: Chinese, French, German, Italian, Korean, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish. Pedometer++ 2.0 is available now in the App Store for free.
