A popular Kickstarter offering is now available to purchase by the general public through BiteMyApple.co. The Pocket Tripod, designed for the iPhone 5s/5, burned up the crowd funding site last year with almost $85,000 in pledges. Measuring in at an extremely thin 2.3 mm, the tripod can fit in any wallet for easy travel and storage. A combination of four continuous 90-degree "sweeps" can hold an iPhone at almost any angle in either portrait or landscape orientation. Along with helping photographers capture that perfect image, it also looks to be a perfect tool for a long FaceTime or Skype session. Here’s a quick video about the product. Click here if you can’t see it. Buyers can select from either a black or white version of the tripod. It’s available for $26.99 from BiteMyApple.co now. If you’re interested in learning more about how the tripod works, you can download the free Pocket Tripod app in the App Store now. A universal app, designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini, it is intended to be a 3-D instruction manual for the device.
