Acclaimed To-Do App This Week Renamed GoodTask, Updated With New Features
March 8, 2014
As of this week, the highly rated Reminders replacement app This Week officially goes by its new name, GoodTask.
This Week was so named because it originally presented only a weekly view of tasks and reminders. But since its first major update, it has also featured list, day and month views of the same.
Its recent rebranding from a week-focused moniker to a task-focused one, then, is not at all unreasonable.
Unsurprisingly, the name change also brings about a change in the app's URL scheme, from
thisweek://
to goodtask://
.
In addition, GoodTask comes with the following new features:
GoodTask, formerly This Week, is available in the App Store for $4.99. It's compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 7.0 or later. Released last December for iPhone and iPod touch, the app was updated with universal support for iPad and iPad mini last January. It was last updated last month with night mode support, a larger font option, background refresh for app icon badges, and URL scheme actions for power users.
