Great news for bargain hunters searching for an iPad Air. Apple’s online store is now offering a number of refurbished versions of the newest full-sized tablet.
The entry-level 16GB iPad Air can be purchased for $419, an $80 discount compared to a new version. The 32GB iPad Air is $509, $90 less than its new counterpart.
For users needing a lot of storage, the refurbished 64GB and 128GB tablets are $589 and $679, respectively.
All of the tablets are Wi-Fi only. Both the silver and space gray colors are available.
Apple’s refurbished products are made to look indistinguishable from new devices and come with a new back shell, battery, and all manuals. All the devices come with the same one-year warranty found with new products.
I’ve ordered more than a few refurbished products from Apple, and have always been pleased with the quality of the devices. If you’re looking to spend a little less on the current generation iPad, it’s definitely the way to go.
Currently, Apple’s online store isn’t offering any refurbished versions of the second-generation iPad mini with Retina Display. But we’ll let you know if that changes.
