Great Video App Horizon Is Free For A Limited Time

March 3, 2014
It has become a lot easier to help rid the world of vertical video syndrome. The spectacular app Horizon is now free to download for a limited time. When it arrived earlier this year, the app was priced at a very reasonable $1.99. But now, you have no reason not to grab it. As the name suggests, the app allows users to record horizontal video no matter how their iOS device is being held. Thanks to the built-in gyroscope, the video is always corrected so that it stays parallel to the ground. Videographers can also take advantage of multiple resolutions and different aspect ratios for their videos. Along with eight different filters to select from, the final product can be shared to social networks like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. And to record that perfect selfie video, the app can record video with the front or back camera. Videos can also be opened in other apps. Back in late January, the app was updated to version 1.1 and added video stabilization, reduced rotation jitter, and high-definition video recording for older iOS devices. A universal app designed for both the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini, Horizon can be downloaded on the App Store now.
