Jailbreakers Can Now Support The evad3rs With These Official Skins
The evad3rs (@evad3rs), a team of jailbreak hackers who developed and released the evasi0n7 jailbreak software, have teamed up with iCarbons to produce a series of limited-edition official skins for the iPhone and iPad.
You can pick up one of the skins from $12.95, and they’re available for the iPhone 4 and above, the iPad 2 and above, and both iterations of the iPad mini. The skins come in a huge range of colors, and each one features the evad3rs’ official logo on the back (pictured above).
Because the evad3rs released evasi0n7 free of charge, this is a great opportunity for jailbreakers to give something back to the team while gaining a nice skin for their iPhone or iPad. The skins leave room for the camera, its flash, the microphone, and Touch ID; the iPhone skin in particular is also highly customizable.
Given that the evad3rs are likely working hard on updating evasi0n7 for iOS 7.1, it’s a great time for jailbreakers to support the cause.
As a reminder, though iOS 7.1 patched an essential exploit in the evasi0n7 jailbreak solution, a recent YouTube video demonstrated that the software can be jailbroken – on an iPhone 4 handset, at least.
We’ll keep you updated with further information on the status of an iOS 7.1 jailbreak solution as we receive it.
In the meantime, for the option of purchasing an evad3rs iOS device skin, head over to iCarbons.
