Microsoft Updates OneNote For iPad With iOS 7 Redesign In Line With New Office Apps

March 28, 2014
Earlier today, Microsoft finally released the iPad edition of its popular Office productivity suite, which comprises three apps for iPad: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint. Unsurprisingly, these new apps feature a common visual style inspired by iOS 7. Now, the company has updated Microsoft OneNote for iPad with a new design that's in line with that of the newly released apps. Indeed, OneNote for iPad has been redesigned for iOS 7, with interface elements that are simpler and flatter. In addition, the app now automatically crops and enhances photos of whiteboards and documents for optimal display. Also including some bug fixes, the new version of Microsoft OneNote for iPad is available now in the App Store for free. The app is compatible with iPad and iPad mini running iOS 7.0 or later. Microsoft OneNote for iPad was released back in December 2011, nearly a year after the launch of Microsoft OneNote for iPhone, which is yet to be redesigned for iOS 7. Last week, Microsoft debuted OneNote for Mac as a free download in the Mac App Store.
