Google has just announced that an updated version of its Google Wallet app should be arriving soon.
With the new Orders feature, users can automatically track online orders, receive notifications about status updates, and track all past orders. The information is added from receipts in your Gmail account.
Launching just last fall, Google has quickly added a number of nice improvements to the app. Its first update in December added a trio of new features, most importantly the ability to add credit or debit card information into the app by just taking a photo.
Version 2.0.13611, which landed last month added the automatic scanning capability for loyalty cards.
To help alleviate any security concerns, the app features a required PIN code and 24/7 monitoring.
The current version of Google Wallet can be downloaded now on the App Store for free. It is designed for the iPhone/iPod touch. The update should be arriving soon.
