Tempo has just been updated with more enhancements that make the popular smart calendar app even smarter.
Chief among these enhancements is the new set of social media integrations added to People Insights, which was introduced to Tempo through its previous update last month:
Introduced last month, Tempo Insights is the ultimate networking tool for busy professional. Like a personal assistant, Insights scans your email, calendar and the Internet for the most important real-time information about the people in your network. Insights are baked right into Tempo’s Profile cards and are automatically created and updated for everyone in a user’s network.
The new interrogations include Google+, Klout, Flickr, and About.me. They come in addition to the initial set of real-time Insights from Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Foursquare, AngelList, CrunchBase, and Meetup.
The latest update to Tempo also adds a customization option to Morning Alerts, which were also launched last month. Now, you can set the time for your first alert, which includes birthdays, first meeting information, and the total number of meetings for the day.
The update also increases the search window for future events to six months, enables Tempo account creation using Facebook or LinkedIn, and brings some interface tweaks.
