Expedia For iOS Is Now Offering Users Free Apps As Part Of Its 'Media Lounge'
The folks at Expedia have updated their official iOS app adding support for Media Lounge, a new service from the travel website that offers users free downloads of premium travel-related applications for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
You can download Expedia for iOS free of charge on the App Store, and the first free app to be offered as part of the initiative is Over – a photo-editing application that allows users to add text to their holiday pictures.
Though usually priced at $1.99, Over can now be downloaded free of charge from inside of the Expedia app, with Expedia promising more free premium content every single month.
John Kim, senior vice president at Expedia, said:

With the introduction of Media Lounge, we’re taking the next step in providing a more complete experience for our users that are traveling with their iPhone or iPod touch.
Besides offering free apps, the updated Expedia application will also recommend additional content that’s both free and paid to users, too.
Content that’s listed free through Media Lounge will be available for a limited time only, and a new item will be added during the first week of every month. If you notice something you’re interested in downloading, then be sure to act fast before it disappears!
