Galcon Creator's Brick-Breaking Breakfinity Launches For iOS
Breakfinity, Phil Hassey’s anticipated iOS brick-breaker, has just launched on the App Store. Promising gamers hours of brick-breaking fun, the new application is available free of charge and is optimized for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
We first told you about Breakfinity earlier this month, explaining that its developer – Phil Hassey – is the man behind the popular Galcon series. The most recent Galcon app for iOS, Galcon Legends, first launched on the App Store back in February, and a number of further games in the series are also available.
Unlike Galcon, however, Breakfinity is a classic, retro-inspired brick-breaker game. Here’s how Hassey describes the application over in its release notes:
An all new brick smashing game with some crazy twists! Break your way through to escape to the next level before the wall crushes you! Insane bosses every 5th level! It’s an infinite challenge!

As mentioned, the application can be downloaded now free of charge. If you’ve been searching for a new, fun, free iOS game, Breakfinity looks to be a good choice.
If, on the other hand, you’re looking for a paid tactical-style game, Galcon should keep you occupied for hours – not the least because there are four titles in the iOS series. One is even free, too, and will give gamers an idea of whether the Galcon mode of gameplay is to their liking.
