Transformers: Age Of Extinction Game Is Coming Soon To The App Store

May 13, 2014
With “Transformers: Age of Extinction” scheduled to hit theaters on Friday, June 27, Hasbro and DeNA announced today that an official mobile game is in development. Transformers: Age of Extinction will be a free-to-play title for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini. Described as a “3-D combat runner,” gamers are tasked with taking down enemies featured in the movie with a cast of Autobot heroes. Just like in the movie, players will do a lot of fighting and smashing through a number of different environments. DeNA is a well-known publisher, and this game definitely looks interesting. In the announcement, the game was pegged as “arriving sometime later this year.” But it would make sense that we should be seeing it around the movie’s release date. We’ll definitely let you know if we hear anything more about the title. If you can’t wait to play the game, the official app of the movie landed on the App Store earlier this month. With the free and universal title, iOS users can watch trailers, read bios of characters in the movie, browse a number of new toys that tie-in with the flick, and more.
