A New Feature That's Just 'For You' Awaits In iHeartRadio 5.0

The popular Internet radio platform iHeartRadio has just updated its flagship iOS app to version 5.0 with a new feature that's just "For You." The new feature is indeed called "For You," and it offers an even more personalized listening experience with station recommendations based on the music you listen to. For new iHeartRadio users, in particular, "For You" comes with a genre selection tool for improved station recommendations. Available genres include: top 40 and pop, country, hip hop and R&B, rock, alternative, news and talk, sports, Christian and gospel, Spanish, dance, oldies, classic rock, mix and variety, soft rock, jazz, classical, comedy, world, college radio, and reggae and island. And for all users, the new feature offers recommendations based on location, music listening history, and recently played Custom and Live Stations, in addition to chosen genres. Version 5.0 of iHeartRadio also includes a new player, simplified controls, improved search, and bug fixes. Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6.0 or later, iHeartRadio 5.0 is available now on the App Store for free. Also available on the App Store are iHeartRadio for iPad and iHeartRadio for Auto.
