Apple Releases A Bunch Of Betas: OS X 10.9.4, OS X Server 3.2, Safari 6.1.5

Developers might be running OS X 10.10 Yosemite on their machines, but that doesn't mean Apple has forgotten about its Mavericks-generation Mac software. In fact, Cupertino recently released three new betas for developers to trial-run: OS X Mavericks 10.9.4, OS X Server 3.2, and Safari 6.1.5. All three can be downloaded now from the Mac App Store (provided you're signed-in with a developer account), and each one brings "minor improvements" to Apple's software. It could be this is the final beta for OS X 10.9.4, because with OS X 10.10 Yosemite said to be launching in fall we're expecting Cupertino to release the Mavericks update soon. The Safari 6.1.5 beta release asks developers to focus on "general website compatibility and extension compatibility," according to AppleInsider. OS X Server 3.2, on the other hand, merely adds support for OS X 10.9.4. As mentioned, developers can also take OS X Yosemite beta 1 for a spin on their Mac computer, and Apple is even planning on offering the prerelease software for members of the general public through its recently-resurrected OS X Beta Program. This more major software update, which brings a redesign to OS X along with a selection of advanced features (including support for iCloud Drive, handoff, Phone app calls, and SMS messages), is indeed expected to launch as a free software update later this year.
