Apple's Own Podcasts App Is Crashing After Launch For Most Users

For the large majority of users running the latest public version of iOS, 7.1.1, Apple's own Podcasts app is crashing immediately after launching.
We've attempted to open the app on a number of iOS devices with 7.1.1., and it usually crashes. The most recent version of the universal app, 2.1.2, arrived back in late May.
We'll let you know when we hear anything from Apple about the issue.
In the meantime, take a look at our own AppList of Podcast Apps if you'd like to find an alternative. Even though it will set you back $2.99, Downcast is easily my favorite.
Interestingly, in the most recent beta version of iOS 8, Podcasts comes preinstalled. While that means users won't have to download it, it can also no longer be deleted.
